Taking a D8T chassis and converting it to on road. So far:

Traxxas GTR Shocks with Kyosho GT2 Springs
Kyosho Front Arm setup from MP777
Hot Bodies Lightning Stadium Shock Towers
MIP Aluminum CVD's for MP777
D8 and D8T Diffs (Center is D8T)

So far, everything seems to be coming together nicely, no huge hiccups, except for using a D8 upper arm instead of being able to use the Kyosho setup. Leaves a little more slop than I like, but it'll work just fine. I had a spare Lightning Stadium tower and noticed that most of the holes line up with the Kyosho front bumper setup from the GT2, so I'm using those for now.

We'll see where this goes, it's going to sit at a 384MM wheelbase. The GT2 is roughly 360MM and the Traxxas XO-1 is 400-404MM wheelbase. I'm either going to use 6S and Tekin, or go with the setup from an XO-1, still up in the air.

Probably going to mod these towers to work correctly for the front and rear body mounts:

Directional change: Open wheel, and... well. Fuckin cool looking. First pics are mock up, then wing mounted and stance with body mounted. Less than a CM off the ground right now. About 8mm front ride height, and 10mm rear.

Another sick one Howard! Can't wait to see it run.
I don't know if you've tuned in to the Facebook page lately but Lamar is still planning on us coming down the third week in July unless something changes....rumor has it a wedding may get in the way of the bash this year..... :-#

My interests are leaning toward the Axial Wraith. My Xray needs to be nervous.

Still got your TC3 if you're missing it...and want it back.... :| It's never going anywhere here.

Yeah, mine is going nowhere.... It's been on my desk for a year now at work. After driving the 1/8th scale stuff, I'm looking into getting a 1/4 scale now. There's even a quarter scale track within 20 minutes of here now.

And since I have no track around here Im going towards the Axial Wraith and some creative landscaping in my back yard. I would LOVE to play fast 1/8th cars. But I simply can't afford it.

What is a fair asking price for that TC3. Don't remind me what I have in it.... #-o just what I oughta ask for it....lol

That one I would ask at least a hundo twenty five for. I see them go for anywhere from 75 for a complete pile to 250 for a decent RTR. Remembering what I had in that one, I would start the auction at 100 bucks and let it go from there. You cannot find some of he parts that were on that car anymore either, and they are still brand new. Hardcore parts come at a premium because they really are just freakin well done.

Second pass: 85.6MPH

Vid's coming soon.

They look badass Howard. Both of them. I wish I had the disposable income of the old days....fuck I can't afford to pay attention anymore let alone actually get something built. Every time I get a few hundo saved up something else comes along that takes priority... :(

I've been driving this thing and it's pretty fun. Goes about 80 on a full pack without overheating anything. Recently put buggy tires on it and it's going to destroy a CVD. Does not like to jump.
