Dig it. This plot of about 6 acres sits next to my Chiropractor's house/land. Through her good graces and reference to her neighbor I got the run of this place, for now, to make a track for myself and whomever I choose to have with me.
The owner is in the dirt business and this property is "next door" to his place where sits every type of earth moving equipment you can think of. He has most graciously offered to bring over a dozer and manipulate the dirt to whatever I think I need.
There is water closeby, that can be pumped over to wet the track. And with a little more rakin each time its gonna be great. I cant remember being this excited.....well maybe but still.
The dude aint chargin me a penny for the use of the land or the dozing if I tell him to do any.
Even better is the fact this place is less than ten minutes from home if I hit all th elights just right....maybe 15 tops.
There are even LOTS of rocks to climb......now that I have sold my crawler....

You need to come see it for yourself Dale. In fact, once I get back to work and have some cash flow Ima have a track party. y'all come and bring a rake and shovel....I'll buy the beer.

Honestly, the dozer is a bit overkill. all it needs is drug real good and a few more realistic jumps put in place. But with that dozer he can slope it to drain good and not wash out so bad. Get on down her soon as you can Dale. I got nothin but time on my hands for the next three weeks.

Okay s oafter spending some time there every day this week, I have decided to not use up my machine favors until I have a plan for a specific layout.
Y'all seen the pics of the area I got to work with. As far as I know I can do whatever I want with it and the owner says he will use his dozer or other to level off a spot for me.

So gimmie some suggestions....

Umm.. Could you be a little more vague??

How much room do you have to work with (without cutting down trees, filling in ditches or any other stupid shit)? width/length??

You want 10' wide lanes??

He's got dozers, trackhoes, scrapers, and pretty much whatever a guy needs sittin around there. So, basically we can have a fucking RC Eutopia if we wanna....

A bit of an update....
I spoke with the property owners this morning. And they have agreed to let me use one of their Bobcats tomorrow to scrape off a spot to build a track. \:D/ \:D/ And at no charge for fuel or equipment rental. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Just make sure that you include some decent size jumps. I get tired of seeing tracks with baby jumps. If you have access to a Bobcat, then the possibilities are pretty much endless.

There are already mounds of dirt there suitable for house-jumping. Just no houses close enough to jump.

KEnny, I'll put in a jump SPECIAL FOR YOU. It'll be ready for use this afternoon. Third week in July we have the bash. EVERY year now for the past three. Its usually at Dale's place in Palmyra Mo. But this year we got all sorts of options. If I build it, you MUST come. :| :ninja2:

Anybody who wants to come play in the dirt bring a rake or shovel and hurry up!
