Paint scheme, body and wing. All preliminary, but going to be an angry birds theme. Probably white wheels, yellow wing.

I like the JConcepts lids. They seem a little tougher than the Prolines. I thnk Pro Line has cheapened up over the years in the quality of their lexan.

As you can see, I replaced the craptastic Kyosho shocks with Hot Bodies units. I feel they are better shocks after running the D8T and the D8. You could grab the Kyoshos at the base of the shock body and move the shaft back and forth, which is common with their big bores, so I replaced them. Time to get the thing running, probably going to be a Tekin 2000~ KV system on 4S.

I don't know if it's the straight cut gears or what but this is the easiest, smoothest rolling chassis I've ever assembled. I knew the Kyosho mojo was good with the 7.5 and 777, but damn. Fuck helical cut gears. This thing is slicker than goose shit.

So far, I'm about 800 in, but it's got better shocks, lighter driveshafts, 7075 non lightweight chassis, and just feels better than the other MP9's I've held.

Built a D8 for the boy to race with me..... So it turns out I'll be running this with the trugg.

I have read other places where folks aren't liking the Tekin's all that much for off road use. Granted, half of em or more are probably idiots who don't tie shit down correctly. But they are talking about the Hobby Wing ESCs being good ones. I wouldn't know. All I do is sit and stare at my mess of shit that all needs tore down and both time and money spent on it.

I have shot a price of $900 delivered to Yuck's buddy in Memphis for my Truggy. I suppose I'd make you the same deal Howard. You seem to be the only guy I know who has the money to spend on this shit these days. Mine would come with "other stuff" too, and you could likely talk me in to giving you back your TC3. Which means I have pretty much GIVEN you that RX8... ](*,) But it is what it is. I wanna spend a little money on my Wraith and buy an ESC Combo for my LCG 2WD Slash.

HOLY SHIT!!!! 900!?!?!?!?!

You got money tree's in your back yard? FUCK me in the goat ass.... I built this thing buying parts off of eBay, one piece at a time. Like Johnny motherfuckin Cash.

Pics to come. I'm also about to sell my TC3, just can't go back to 10th scale. Might give it to one of my kids since I have enough spare parts to build 6 of these fuckin things.

I had one when the Xray was purchased. I bought everything needed for that kit all at once. I think the total was around $1500 after taxes and shipping. I could take a little less for it but dammit Bobby. Everybody else who has one for sale is up in that neighborhood give or take. I suppose I "could" do an electric conversion but why? I don't race the fucking thing and just bashing it gets boring by myself.

Jeff didn't want it either. Seems that his money tree wilted a little since I last spoke to him...lol So it appears Im stuck with it for now. I have it all apart now or at least started. I oughta be ashamed of the shape it's in currently. :mallot: :mallot: :mallot:

Oh it's gonna get put back together. But whether or not it'll get run again enough to get dirty remains to be seen.
